Quite hazy for a pils, displaying nearly opaque hues of straw and maize under a short off-white head unevenly settling to a bubbly collar despite being damn near slow-poured.
It's really quite scrumptious, but seems more like a style of its own. Hard to describe, it exhibits a milder bitterness under notes of wheat. and it actually has a hint of wild honey on the exhale.
Smooth enough to qualify as a crusher, but with a substantial feel to it, I'm not sure how we can call this a pils, but I do enjoy it a fair bit. I'd rate it higher if it were stylized as something like a wheat or keller or some such.
