Foggy acorn reddish-brown with a short khaki head dispersing to a thin, creamy ring.
Caramel and toffee are balanced by a lightly woody bitterness before a subtle boozy heat emerges, even up into the ears, after the semi-sticky swallow. After a few more sips, toasted pumpernickel and cinnamon develop.
The moderately viscous but medium body also has ghosts of barrel vanillin--which maybe even emulates bananas foster--that gets kicked up by the fine, cutting carbonation before becoming quite cotton dry in the finish.
