I had this beer on-tap at the brewery in a straight-sided pint glass.
Appearance: medium golden-orange hue with a moderate haze and a thick head of frothy ivory foam that leaves a nice chunky lace on the glass.
Smell: bready and somewhat sweet malt with earthy, slightly citrusy hops. Not bad, but not particularly exciting.
Taste: malty backbone with a sweet, nutty, bready, caramelly character, along with earthy hops and a moderate bitterness. It's fine, but not outstanding.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a pretty good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: this reminds me a bit of like a hoppy-ish red ale, what with all its breadiness.
