Double Hazy IPA: Named after the seasonal tall ship that graces the harbor every summer. Pungent tropical fruits burst out of the glass with a touch of fresh herbs. Hops are Mosaic, Citra, Azacca, and Strata.

Poured from 16oz can into my 8th Wonder chalice. Canned 6/12/25. This batch is 8.2% ABV.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a moderate haze and a thick cap of ivory foam atop.
Smell: kind of an earthily tropical, guava and passionfruit thing going on. It’s kinda flat though, without a lot of juicy zing to it.
Taste: some of that tropicality from the aroma, but also I think this can is maybe past its prime. It’s not terrible but … yeah, not the best out there.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: usually I’d think twice about reviewing a 9-month-old hazy. But I bought this can *at the brewery* just a week ago, so if they are going to sell past-its-prime IPA, and there’s no distributor or retail outlet to blame, then I’m gonna review it as it is.

Pouring into the glass creates a THICCC cloud that has a gorgeous orange-gold color that finishes with a solid head (not a forehead, but a fivehead). The smell is

Solid IPA! Very citrus forward and juicy on the palate. Kinda like a west coast/east coast hybrid. Hops in this were: warrior, azacca, mosaic, and pekoe.
