Thanks to Justin for this one. 16oz can (dated 11/9/22) poured into 16oz tulip. Poured a hazy/cloudy reddish-amber color with almost an inch of khaki head that had moderate to good retention and light to moderate lacing.
The aroma had a base "beer" scent, semi-sweet malts and lightly spicy hops, but after a moment more grain showed through, along with a a slight citrus hop bite. Similar on the tongue, with a bit of a leather/tobacco flavor at the back end.
The body was fairly typical for the style; medium-ish, smooth, and had a medium finish that leaned a bit sweet. drinkability was fine, an easy quaff. Overall, a pleasant enough brew, but not one I'd be in a hurry to seek out again. still, prolly worth a shot if you see it.
