This is described as a Hazy Pale Ale, and it pours slightly cloudy amber. Plenty of foam in the Hopleaf goblet. Malty and substantial, with a pleasant sudsy mouthfeel. Flavor is pencil shavings and green tea for the hops. Modest bitter aftertaste. Some shy fruity aromatics.
I was fearful with a name like Métier, this would be another French Canadian ditch weed brew. But it is really quite drinkable, perhaps more malty than some would like but a robust, flavorful brew. From the 16 oz can purchased from Elizabeth Station.

Poured from 16oz can into my BeerAdvocate teku. No date on the can.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a light haze and two fingers of frothy eggshell foam. Quite pretty!
Smell: light aroma of lemongrass and a dash of toasty malt. Simple, and nicely-enough composed, but the volume could be turned up.
Taste: quite malty, with a pretty sweet base and an earthy, mild hop flavor. Bitterness comes in at the end; not too strong, but definitely present. This beer is a bit of an odd duck to me; I could see some people really liking it, but it's not 100% my jam.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and quite a decent creaminess.
Overall: this beer is not bad, and I'm enjoying drinking it. But the sweetness is too much for a pale ale, and it lacks a lot of complexity.

16oz can (no date) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a muddy, murky orange color with a solid inch of white headt that had good retention and moderate lacing.
Frooty hops at the front of the aroma, with some nice citrusy brightness behind.
Pretty similar on the tongue, with just enough grain showing through, for some counter-point.
The body was light-medium, a bit sticky middle-back, and had a semi-dry finish.
Drinkability was good, not as boring as most murkbombs.
Overall, a nicely solid brew. certainly worth trying if you see it.
