Color is a beautiful pinky, ambery red, sporting a big coarse pile of foam in the pint shaker. It's seriously sour with a quick whiff of berries followed by the vinegar nose. The taste is enlivened by actual, intense raspberries, but then dives into the vinegar without a net. The aromatics are interesting. The teeth regret the acidity.
This is one of the best fruity sours I've tasted, more interesting than the well-known Oregon varieties. I still can't think of an occasion when a big glass of this would be a pleasure, but I will give credit to the brewers. From the 16 oz can purchased at Healthy Spirits in San Francisco.
