A blend of beers aged 1 and 3 years in neutral oak. Effervescent, mildly tart and refreshing, with blueberry in perfect balance with the slight pepper from the red currants.

A cloudy pink lemonade body, thick pinkish white collar, spotted lacing. Sour red currant jam, blueberry compote, tons of sour oak, yet has a biscuit not that sticks out like a sore thumb. Apple cider vinegar, huge red currant, blueberry, boozy pear, and a rising tartness, but the middle is very subdued giving it a hollowed out profile. Feel is thin verging on watery, tart, cumulatively acidic. Just doesn't come together enough to justify the sharp contrasts

Appearance - The beer poured a reddish color with a white head crowning the glass.
Smell - Disturbingly, the beer smelled like Fruity Pebbles swimming in lactose. Few things can smell as disturbing in a beer as a radioactive children’s cereal.
Taste - Under ripe berries set off the profile. I could detect blueberries, but not currants. The profile just comes off as tart and earthy. There was a dry wheat backbone toward the back.
Mouthfeel - The beer was aggressively carbonated with a profile that was somewhat thick.
Overall - This was a strange beer. I can’t pinpoint where it went wrong, but I know a mess when I taste one.
