Was hoping for a true English IPA but this leans American bc although they brew it as an English they use American hops so it’s definitely hoppier than most traditional versions you’ll find in the UK. Nonetheless, super smooth and delicious.

On tap at the brewery. Pours deep golden with white head. Body is medium and crisp. Taste is of herbal hops, bready malt and tropical fruit. Long dry finish. Tasty brew.

Handsome crystal clear amber brew with plenty of foam in the Rodenbach goblet. Light citrusy, lemony aroma. Moderately sweet and on the malty side. There are probably still more hops than in a traditional English style, but the bitterness is slight.
Flavors of orange and a hint of pineapple. Some grass and hay. Quite rich-tasting and more mellow than the usual acidic American IPAs. Just a touch of butterscotch. This is a really unusual, for these times, and very drinkable brew. Another reason to check out Deft. From the 32 oz growler filled at the taproom this evening.
