a gorgeous petite saison here, love these low alcohol beers of interesting ferment. this is much less funky than their heavy weather brett pale, but it has some intrigue to it still, a little belgian, a little french, a little funky, and just maybe ever so slightly tart at the end, a little it of everything then, not overly estery, not too high tone, everything in balance, really professionally done, and i love the aesthetic on their labels, their stuff really appeals to me. good clarity on this one, bright yellow beer, with a tall couple inches of belgian looking white head and racing carbonation, a fine looking pour. the nose and taste hint at pear and peach to me, late summer fruity vibes, some pils malt supporting, but the grain base is exceedingly light here, straw and hay notes too, grassy and earthy and with some noble hops likely. delicate beer but not at all boring, i like how refined it is but also how sort of old timey it tastes. lighter bodied obviously, great carbonation, cool aftertaste, slightly bitter late. as it warms things like white tea and clover come out, there a lot going on in this little brew. pretty stoked on wilderness right now, my kind of beer. thanks to my homie for gathering and sharing these!
