This unfiltered style of ale is pale and cloudy in appearance due to the high level of wheat used in the mash. It has been spiced with coriander, orange peel and fresh peach purée. It’s then fermented with a Belgian yeast, giving the beer intense flavors of peach with hints of banana, clove, citrus and spice. It’s perfect for your friends Dylan, Brandon, Kelly, Donna, David, Steve and even Brenda.

To be honest, Witbier is not really a style I enjoy all that much. Most of the examples I tried were early on in my beer journey as well so that definitely has had an effect on my feelings towards the style. However, a peach fruited Wit sounds very interesting, and it's probably time for me to start exploring the style again. Let's dive right in

Pours a lightly hazy yellow gold with 2 fingers of rocky white head that quickly fades to a thin ring and leaves no lacing

This is the kind of beer that grabs your attention right away with the intensity of aromas, everything just seems so fresh. I'm picking up on aromas of juicy peach, tart tangerine, spicy coriander, earthy wheat, fresh baked bread, and light herbal hops

It is a bit muted in flavor, but keeps things light and slightly tart. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting tart peach, orange zest, lemon, and white pepper. The swallow brings notes of spicy wheat, juicy peach, and a touch of pine

A medium body pairs with moderate tingling carbonation, resulting in a crisp and easy drinking beer, especially for the moderately high abv. Finishes dry and lightly tart

I know this is far from a traditional Wit, but I really enjoyed this. These guys are super local to me, so I'm gonna be picking this up again for sure
