This beautiful, dark brew is hard to catch up with these days. It’s known for being intense and bold with chocolate roasted malt and oak smoked malt. This screaming hot campfire smoked beer is for those select people who need a thrill in their lives. Try to get your hands on this brew before it speeds away! Cheers!

Pours root beer color and looks black in the glass. Half inch foamy tan head that falls quickly to a thin ring. The little ring clings pretty hard.
Smoke forward aroma with porter-like malts. Slight char but more smokey than burnt. Behind that a little cocoa and maybe a touch of coffee. Slight vegetal smell. Earthy.
Would it be a shock to say there is a strong smoke component that leads the taste? Very prominent woodsmoke - I'd certainly lean toward nice, clean oak. Underneath that I get a very porter-like base beer. Roast malts, some cocoa and coffee. Minimally bitter, but with the smoke it's just bitter enough. Mild but definitely present fennel/licorice on the back end with a touch of pepper. There is a little green herbal flavor. It's quite pleasant tasting to me.
Feel is medium bodied, lightly carbonated. Just a bit chalky and a dry finish.
I'm diggin' this quite a bit. It's heavy on the smoke but not overdone. The underlying beer is strong enough to handle the smoke intensity. Nicely made beer.
