It is now time to give flight to this year’s batch of « PAPILLON » The beer starts its caterpillar stage as a Brett Saison, and is then chrysalised with Butterfly Pea Flowers and fresh-cut @ravenhillherbfarm ‘s amazing local Lavender. The resulting butterfly is floral, herbaceous, dry, and pours a brilliant violet colour.

Ile Sauvage Brewing 'Papillon' @ 6.0% , served from a 473 ml can
A-pour is a light purple from the can to a dark purple in the glass with a small dissipating pinkish head leaving a minimal lace ring along the tulip
S-lavender
T-funky lavender saison , with a tart butterfly pea flowers swallow
MF-mild carbonation , medium body
Ov-ok beer til the end/swallow , not a good/great finish
