My first from Saint Mars (but I don't get the joke of them being in the Desert.) Nonetheless, we have another Mom & Pop shop that does everything including tend their taproom on the two days they are open. They are prolific and brew in diverse traditions and styles... but I'm not seeing any cash cows to keep them open. (Am I being too harsh?) Anyhow, I give them good Overall Hugs and hope they grow more customers with a cash cow.
Fleurs de Printemps will not be that cash cow, but it is an interesting take on this yeasty style. Fleurs' Looks are only average in a good-looking style that is foamy and swirly. Smells have aromatic hops I associate with Pales, but they are good different; reminding me as much of Hazies as Blondes. Tastes remind me of the same, a bit hoppier than most Blondes, but they say so on the label; so the market may like it more than me. Refreshing Feel, but not quite medium-mouthed. Cheers ! (And find that cash cow... even if in a Desert.)
