Toasted malt, toasted bread crust, hint of chocolate, earthy, grassy hop character. Very good and could easily drink a lot.

It was nice to see two ESBs offered at this brewery. This one is a traditional ESB, the other is brewed with coffee.
This was poured from draft into a an English pint. Small head and light lacing. Slightly fruity caramel smell and taste. Some toffee sweetness with a good bitter finish. I would have liked it just a bit heavier but overall a good beer and I will definitely go back to this brewery.

A: Pours a dark reddish/brown color. A small white head forms and recedes. Light lace is left behind.
S: Toasted malts, a bit of a metallic note, and unfermented malts/kind of wort like. Seems a little unfinished.
T: Toasted malts again, grains, and lots of caramel sweetness. I do get the metallic bite again.
M/O: A medium body with crisp carbonation. Overall, just kind of there. Nothing particularly bad to drink, but there are better versions locally made.
Maybe this needs to be fine tuned a little? For the most part, an OK malty amberish like beer though doesn't exactly hit the spot for me as an ESB.
