A honey ale with rhubard and saskatoon berries.
Appearance - Pours a watermelon raspberry with a finger of bubbly white head.
Smell - honey, saskatoon berries, rhubarb, bready malts, earthy and leafy hops, and earthy yeast.
Taste - honey followed by the saskatoon berries and rhubarb. The earthy and leafy hops follow suit. The bready malts and earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate to high carbonation. Finishes slightly tart with the honey, fruits, and hops lingering.
Overall - A unique brew that utilizes honey to a degree I've never seen with a fruit and vegetable brew. The honey cuts out the tartness from the saskatoon berries and rhubarb to make this a sessionable brew. Worth a try if you stumble across this one!
