Appearance - Pours a hazy gold with three fingers of frothy bubbly white head.
Smell - belgian yeast, banana, clove, coriander, hint of black pepper, spicy earthy and floral hops, and biscuity malts.
Taste - belgian yeast upfront. The banana, clove, coriander, hint of black pepper are quite mild compared to the aroma. The hint of spicy earthy and floral hops and biscuity malts round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with all elements lingering.
Overall - A very malt forward saison. It started off on the right foot but everything got lost in translation in the taste. What a shame.
