A- There is little to no foamy head, and what is there, starts out about maybe a half finger and almost disappears immediately....not impressed with this to be honest. There is no lacing to speak of either....just a watery fizz that again, disappears almost as fast as it appears. There is many tight columns of foam carbonation that rise to the top of the brew in aggressive fashion. Coloration is dark golden and seems to be rather clear....perhaps some chill hazing happening but otherwise a pretty unassuming looking brew.

S- Definietely smells of lemon meringue pie, with some tart funk happening, some creamy egg white topping and fresh filling reminisent of homemade pie....perhaps more sour than I am used to experiencing. I do sense some sweeter tones of sugar, vanilla and biscuit type dryness on the finish. Overall it does smell good!

T- This is a fairly tart brew, with nuances of icing sugars, sweet lemon extract and/or Sheriff lemon pie filling, pie crust and follow up bready/biscuit like dryness, some caramel and crystal malt, with the finish being somewhat bacterial and sour....overall I find it to have the character of a lemon meringue pie flavor, but it wouldn't be what I would want to eat....too funky for my liking

M/O- Overall , this is a thirst quencher for sure, but not my cup of tea. It is fizzy, light in body and while it does show off the nature of the pie, I don't think that it is what the average person would be going for.....I'd rather have the actual dessert. It is what it is, and on a hot day it might pass, but overall, I am passing on this one....not a great example of balancing the sweet to the sour/tart components.

Appearance - Pours a slightly foggy, peachy gold with two fingers of frothy white head.

Smell - Tart lemons, bready and biscuity malts, spicy and floral hops, hint of vanilla custard. Pretty spot on for lemon meringue pie.

Taste - Tart lemons, meringue-like flavour (kind of vanilla-ish), buttery pastry (from the malts), light bitterness from the hops. More tart than the aroma suggested.

Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Leaves a dry finish.

Overall - To me, the aroma of this beer suggests lemon meringue pie more than the taste did. The flavour reminds me more of a lemon Italian soda (which isn't a bad thing) - tart and refreshing.
