Batch 2 (2019). Pretty, with big dense white head and lacy lacing. Smell is a little faint, grainy and grassy with some light citrus fruit. Taste is deliciously complex, mixing earthy, sweet, and tart, finishing slightly dry and bitter. Yum. Feel is excellent, kind of heavy on the tongue but sparkling with small bubbles. Quite a good saison.

500 ml bottle, Batch 2, 2019, picked up from my local New Seasons' beer cooler. Poured into a large Piraat tulip, Melee is a lightly chill hazed golden blonde with a thick, foamy white head enveloping the tulip, leaving rocky lace as it recedes.
Smell is clean and classic saison straw, cereals, loads of slate, tropical fruits, lime and wet moss. Citing it's IPA like pedigree, I'm not really getting that by local stds, but it's probably lots of continental hops and being older that is not a fair comparison to the fresh sticky hands I just had before...
Taste is similar and very clean and balanced, more herbal hops for sure, liquid sunshine/bread/field of love.
Mouthfeel is dry and light.
Drinkability is high for me, bit pricey though and don't generally love 50s but nevertheless an extremely well done PNW farmhouse, so much my style.
