We took our Saison and stuck it in cider-whiskey barrels from Milk and Honey Cidery in neighboring St Joseph. Notes of pepper, honey, apple, whiskey and oak all come through in this delicious and complex brew.

Clear, deep gold colored body. Brief appearing off white head. No lacing.
Aroma is very subtle with notes of red grape, slight funk, and oak.
Taste is a melange of cider/whiskey barrel intruding on saison yeast esters. No clear flavor path.
Thinner mouth feel. Quiet carbonation.
The barrel aging on this saison did it no favors.
