We collaborated with our friends from Nepenthe to create this big barrel-aged stout. It rested in Elijah Craig and Widow Jane barrels for 6 months, and was conditioned on healthy doses of caramel, cacao and walnut. It's a rich and indulgent delight, aged to perfection.

Regional non-big-name brewery, thought this stout would underwhelm but Not The Case! Black, oily, smooth, pleasing mild carbonation, good barrel character, and the intended caramel and chocolate notes are really present. Six months in the barrel and didn’t waste a day - lovely!
