On draught pours very dark, espresso black.
The head fades into a small ring with intermittent lacing between sips.
The malt is dark roasted, caramelized to perfection. Sweet malty chocolate nib flavor is dominant, with notes of chicory, vanilla bean and mild licorice.
The alcohol aspect isn’t as dominant as one would expect at 13% ABV, but the slight
“Boozyness” can’t be ignored.
Finish is a lingering roasted malt sweetness with a residual bitter-sweet and tang.
