Made with the finest quality Pilsner, Vienna, and Munich malts. Low bitterness, high hop flavor from a big Ahtanum hops in the whirlpool. Light orange notes on the nose, clean crisp lager finish.

Serving: 12 oz pour into a branded plastic cup at Harlem Hops’ Chelsea Pier 57 bar.

Appearance: Slightly hazy, golden copper with a nice foamy white head and sticky lace.

Smell: Grassy hops, lemon orange citrus, and biscuit malt.

Taste: Solid malt body (biscuity, subtle cereal), citrus and herbal hops, closing in a clean bitter hop finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium body and moderate carbonation.

Overall: Solid, full flavored lager with IPA-like hops, malt and alcohol, but still the clean, dry crispness of lager.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a little coppery tone and a two finger white head with good retention and nice lacing. Aroma of pilsner malt, light grassy hops, orange and grapefruit. Flavor is biscuity pilsner malt, grassy and citrus hops, orange, hay, light grapefruit and little graham cracker. Medium bodied with light creaminess. A pleasant malty lager with light hop bitterness but decent herbal hop flavors. The malt was particularly sturdy in the in the finish leaving a slightly sweet malt aftertaste. Not one of my to-to styles, but I liked this one. One of my last cans from the Half Time BIPOC box. I enjoyed this variety of beers and appreciate this unusual opportunity to try some breweries I'm not going to run into on the West Coast. I was pleased with almost all of these and several were somewhat offbeat, but quite enjoyable.
