SRM 1-3, chill hazed straw. A big, fluffy white head holds at three inches for about a minute before rapidly retreating to a ring. Spots of lace coat a Pretentious Beer Glass Company aromatic glass, while constant carbonation adds interest within.

Unsurprisingly, the aroma is quite sour. There is a variety of fruit fermenting on the ground, including apples and plums to be specific. The background has oranges and possibly pineapple, but no clear hops. While drinking this, I looked up loral and sure enough that aroma is present here. This beer has a bit of that smell found in shops selling essential oils.

Sourness and tartness are balanced against a background of bitter-sweetness. The flavors are difficult to describe. Fruity works. Maybe more accurate would be northern orchard fruit. Sourdough bread is clear. The finish is long and tart. Warmth brings out vibrant lemon and lime.

The body is medium to light with a nylon texture and strong effervescence. Alcohol is surprisingly noticeable, though by no means strong.

This is a fine sour beer. While there is nothing to blow one's socks off, it is quite enjoyable. I had this can after a mild burrito and salsa. The pairing almost worked.
