On tap at Tomato Head in downtown Knoxville yesterday lunchtime.
Looks great in the glass, faintly hazy yellow, small white head which persists throughout leaving some nice lacing.
Slightly spicy aroma, almost rye-like.
Upon tasting, it gives the feel of a rye saison, but the abv is very noticable. It's one of those beers that you drink a little faster than you know you should. Well made beer.
Mouth between full and medium, finish spicy with a slightly white wine type booziness.
Overall, glad I pulled the trigger on this one. Was a bit concerned about the abv for a lunchtime beer, but a tasty beer indeed.
