On tap at the brewpub in Knoxville TN this lunchtime.
Looks great in the glass, black body with a small tan head which persists throughout leaving some nice lacing.
Aroma of medium roasted malt with a little dried fruit.
Upon tasting, there is a well crafted balance here. The roasting is either not overly done, or well balanced by the addition of the plums. You can't really taste plum, but the feel of a dark skin fruit is there. Good beer.
Mouth closer to full than medium, finish a lightly roasted faintly sweet mix.
Overall, nice beer on a cool Tennessee afternoon while watching the glassblowing next door
