Brewed with Mittelfruh and Magnum hops and an Abbey Ale yeast, we like to call this our Belgian Lager.

Poured out into my clear pint glass. The color was a light golden color with a small white head. The smell was of hops and yeast and sweet fruit. Overall, not that bad of a drink.

From Beer Drop. No dating on the can. Another can with a peel off label; that sure is catching on.
It pours a slightly hazy pale gold with a good, long lasting head of foam and there's plenty of lacing.
The smell reminds me of a good Riesling, lots of semi sweet grapes thing going on. I get a sweetness that is honey like with a light hint of bitterness.
The taste is earthy, yeasty, some grape character but not as much as in the smell. Light hop bitterness that leans towards the spicy side.
Mouthfeel is ok.
Strange beer but I find it interesting.

A clear gold color with a small white head and a bit of lace.
Aroma 0f fruit and floral hops.
Initial taste of cherry and apple, with a late hit of hops.
Nice mouthfeel, sweet to bitter.

The can says "Trappist Single" even though this brewer is not Trappist brewery. Nevertheless I will rate this against the expectations of a Belgian Pale Ale.
Golden in color and nearly clear. A modest head that leaves a smattering of spots on the glass.
The smell is awful. Frankly, my impression is of vomit stink. After I get used to that smell, I can tease out a mild pale malt and bittering hop. Not sure what went wrong, but it is completely distracting.
The flavor is a definite step up, but it's really hard to ignore the smell. The flavor is semisweet with mild hop bitterness. No Belgian yeast flavors. The finish is mild and the aftertaste mercifully brief. At best, this is a poor example of the style. In reality, simply put, the smell ruins this beer.

Bought two 12 ounce cans from Beer Drop. Inner Sanctum is interesting enough that I might keep the second can for me.
First, a defense of my styling choice when I added Inner Sanctum. A two month old beer on UnTappd, they styled Sanctum as a Lager-Pale. True, but not helpful. Because Uhl brewed this thinking: what would a monk want at the table if in the mood for a lager? So they brewed up a gentle lager and it went fine with my lunch. Since Euro Lagers are a rubric on BA, I put it in that category.
Now, I must say that it reminds of an abbey single ale as much as it does a lager; while there is modest fruitiness in the Smells, the Taste and finish and the mouth are all much like a sweet lager. But, we all make compromises with the styles we have and a Euro Pale Lager is good enough for Inner Sanctum.
As for my micro-review of Uhl's, a two year old. Well, they have a 187 brews on UnTappd. That's impressive. Shows passion. But I need to see more on their website to see on Uhl is more that a few guys following their beer passion in a college town. So maybe the best thing to do is to buy another Uhl in a few years. Cheers !
11/2/22 I drank the second can with a BBQ medley for veggie burgers. Inner Sanctum did its job, cooled the palate so I could eat more. I'm sorry the other review here complained about the Smells, they were just average to me for the style.
