Idaho 7 and Eureka help to diversify the hop profile on this beer from other hoppy offerings. Pungent, resinous, dank, and a touch of fruit are well represented in this American double dank ale, aka DIPA.

On tap at brewery:
Refreshing to see a clear, light copper body that holds a near-white head for a couple sips. Lacing is negligible, but a medium thin ring holds.
Nose brings the (indistinct) fruit the brewery notes, I’d say some mix of tart berry and grapefruit. There’s a cereal grain base and a little pith mixed in to keep the impression of beer alive.
A malty opening leads to a fruity middle, one of the rare times I can say I get blueberry. Morphing beyond a light but dry ruby grapefruit taste, we get to the pine - more woodsy initially, with a little dry green needle note poking through in the end.
The malt comes through in flavor, but not in sweetness, as the beer is fairly dry. Nicely carbonated, once the bubbles burst, the palate is left with just the mild coating of hop bitterness.
Tame and very balanced on first sips, a nice mix malt and hops comes through. The culmination of an entire glass is somewhat reminiscent of the days before haze.
