On tap at brewery:
Hazy pink grapefruit juice with a moderately beaten egg white froth that gathers at the edge in a medium collar. Temporary lacing shows and disappears before one’s eyes.
Light guava note accentuates the sour side, with a slight fruity lean. Lighter wheat, but not much salinity.
Taste brings a little more pop than the nose, both with the wheat base, a moderate to mildly subdued tart fruit (yes, guava) note, and a little saltiness that sneaks in the back. There’s a very slight note of Greek yogurt in back, as well.
Pretty balanced, nice and lightly tart Gose that doesn’t hide or overpower with the fruit addition.
