Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a lightly hazy, medium golden amber with a two finger white head with great retention and thick lacing. Aroma of pale malt, biscuit and lightly citrus hops, orange, grapefruit, dry grass; faintly floral. Flavor is pale and bready malt, grassy and citrus hops, dry grass, lemon, grapefruit, citrus rind, a bit of biscuit in the finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A bit of an old fashioned tasting IPA that drinks like a hybrid between a British IPA and a Northwest one, probably due to two of its hops, Hallertau and Citra. Also has Idaho 7, which I'm not familiar with. The malt is solid, but unassuming. The hop bill leans a little towards a pale ale, but substantial enough for an IPA. A different enough hop profile to be interesting, solid IPA.
