Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a lightly hazy, medium golden amber with a three finger, white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, rye, citrus hops, lemon and grapefruit; lightly mineral. Flavor is pale and biscuit malt, citrus hops, rye, mild caraway, lemon, yuzu and mild grapefruit. Slightly tart rye and lemon rind finish. Medium bodied with light creaminess. A light, refreshing rye IPA with lots of lemon notes. This would be a great summer ale I hope it comes out again. I don't know what the relationship of Biden and caraway is, but that unexpected herb seed fits this very nicely and added a little spiciness to the already well balanced rye. I liked this quite a bit.
