Pours a completely murky burnished gold with a massive pillowy white head that sticks around and then STICKS if you know what I mean (what I mean is it sticks to the side of the glass).
Nose actually brings out more grains up front than I expected. Bready/grainy malts, with some light sweet floral and maybe some nondescript citrus and bright herbal notes.
Flavour is initially dull bitter hops that have some floral some herbal and some almost melon-like character to them. Somewhat understated. Citrus that's closer to orange/tangerine than other citruses, but isn't actually those things. The malts support, but do not get in the way. It's pleasant and will be nice while I'm grilling, but doesn't super stand out to me.
It's very soft, as the style demands. Smoothe, but with pronounced carbonation. The lingering finish is a dull bitter that's honestly more earthy than it is citrusy to my mind.
Overall it's decent. DOesn't jump out at me, but is perfectly enjoyable and I am glad to have grabbed this can. Just got it in on the last day of pride month, too!!
