Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Brewed with Citra, Pacific Jade, Galaxy, and Citra Cryo.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a light-to-medium haze, and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop. Perhaps not as hazy as I imagine something billed as a "hazy IPA" ought to be.
Smell: lightly fruity, grassy, and tropical. It's not strong enough a tropical aroma to be "juicy", but it's nice.
Taste: lightly sweet malt with a flavor that's even more on the grassy side of the spectrum than the aroma would suggest. That said, it has a very springtime character that I'm vibing with right now.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess for the style.
Overall: not a bad beer at all, although perhaps not what I think about when I see "hazy IPA" on the label. Totally drinkable.
