Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 4/4/24.
Appearance: pale light-orange hue with a big of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: slightly sweet, slightly caramelly malt aroma with light notes of lemongrass and orange peel. Not bad.
Taste: like the aroma, kind of a sweet malt with a rather light hoppy character of lemongrass and citrus peel. I like it, but it’s maybe a bit light in the hops for a comparatively sweet malt base.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: I’m just *this* close to me really liking this beer. Pulling back the sweetness would, I think, let the relatively delicate hop character shine just that much more.
