At SYC Brewing we have made every single beer on the same belief; that a beer should be more than a combination of ingredients. Above all a beer should be absolutely tasteful, familiar, and magical to drink.
As a celebration of our one year anniversary, we have a blend of our favourite house yeasts, Voss Kveik and French Saison with select Brettanomyces cultures. Unoaked, enjoy young or cellar for increased funk.

One year anniversary beer - with Brett 750 ml bottle.
Initial pour is a bright clear golden orange colour with two fingers of puffy white head - the last pour got dregs and dirty golden brown.
Aroma smacks you in the face - phenolic and a bit of a band aid smell, peppery with notes of juicy fruit and bubblegum - slightly metallic.
Tastes bright and peppery, bubblegum, moderately yeasty and funky - quite sweet with again the phenolic and slightly chemical/band aid taste.
Extremely effervescent - tingling carbonation with a bright crisp mouthfeel - leans a little sweet.
Not at all bad but curious where the Brett was and where it is headed - there may be an ideal consumption point - 9-10 months not clearly it.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
