Notes: "Biere de Garde" at 6.1% ABV. Hazy and deep amber in color beneath an off-white head. Good head retention and lacing. The aroma is of grainy malt with just a suggestion of grassy and spicy hops in the background. The flavor is full with grainy and toasty malt, herbal and floral hops, and some Belgian yeast phenolics. A firm bitterness leads it to a dry finish. Medium bodied and gently crisp.
