Opaque purplish-red with a thin mauve chain
Next to the recently released Sip Van Winkle, this has a juicier, softer and rounder feel, almost like a J Wakefield Berliner, so I can see how it has greater mass appeal. I liked the complexity of Sip more, but this is delicious in its own right, with notes of Sweet Tarts paired with brie and a nice blueberry juiciness over light wheat cracker and honey biscuit. Despite being extremely juicy, it has a dry finish.
