Draft at Double Tap. Golden pour, foggy, skin of fine head. Light hoppy aroma. Taste features a nice biscuity base with a layer of light hoppiness. Very smooth and quite crushable.

Nearly clear amber with abundant foam in the Troubadour tulip. Sudsy and tangy on the tongue. Light aroma of straw. Not much malt flavor and little or no sweetness. Hops taste like dark berries with a whiff of juniper. Rather scratchy and mineral tasting in the finish. Not bad, but rather plain with a dry, astringent aftertaste. Elegant mouthfeel, however. From the 16 oz can purchased at Metropolitan Market. Dated 07/11/2023.

fairly clean for a hazy pale, and not without some bitterness, but also not one of the more remarkable hoppy beers i have had from these guys, fresh and well done as it is, i just think so many of their ipa types are standouts that this one is kind of lost in the crowd a little bit, but i like the lower alcohol and perhaps it scratches the pale ale itch for some, but for me most of their hazy ipa releases are easy enough drinking and just packed with a lot more flavor. this does have some more malt balance than i have gotten used to in their stuff, less minimal and dry, a little more structure too, but still this remains on the lighter side. the hops hint at pine and pineapple, but dont leap out of the glass at me as unique despite being relatively pungent and obviously very fresh, some resinous texture to them and an increasing green bite as the beer warms, but not in a sloppy or overdone way. good carbonation, frothy feel, and a nice hop profile, although significantly less pronounced and distinctive than in their best beers. i am so stoked to be getting their beers here in idaho though, it seems like fresh new cans to look forward to every week. if you want a beer thats decidedly a pale and not an ipa, are sick of the line being blurred with the hazy ones and all, give this a try, but i personally prefer most of the straight up ipa cans they have come out with thus far...

16oz can served in a nonic glass. No canning date.
Look- Hazy golden orange color, large off-white head with nice retention and lacing. Moderate/light carbonation streams visible.
Smell- Nice tropical and stone fruit, muddled citrus, nice herbal/spicy hops and faint pine.
Taste- Similar to the aroma, tropical fruit and citrus, grainy malt, with a lightly bitter hop back end.
Feel- Medium bodied, soft yet fairly dry. Moderate carbonation on the tongue.
O- A nice Pale Ale. I've had better recently but I can't knock this one. Worth trying.
