Wow, this is hugely fruity white grapes and pineapple, and plenty more. There's dark cherries and candied orange peel, and a dank finish. Quite sweet, but it goes OK with all the fruitcake taste. Just the slightest bitterness. Very aromatic with honedew melon and orange. Nearly clear yellow brew with some tiny bits in suspension. Plenty of foam in the Orval chalice, and rich and sudsy on the tongue. From the 16 oz can purchased at The Cave in Kirkland. Dated 01/25/2022.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Pale, hazy yellow, one finger head. No longer a session, this is 6.3%. Aroma is lemons, oranges, melon. Taste brings tart lemon zest up front, light citrus and tropical fruit fill in behind. The zingy lemon peel lingers on the palate for a while.

another delicious ipa from these guys, they just keep coming. the strength on my can says 6.3% abv, quite a bit stronger than what is shown here online. about half of these are listed here, about half under their production brewery page, and i never am quite sure where they actually come from, but the beer is the same either way i assume. this is a little bit hazy but still bright looking, yellow colored and frothy white headed. they never tell us what the hops are, but this has crushed pineapple and lemon verbena notes to me, a little bitter tangerine too, good balance, not all dry hops, and surprisingly some fuller feeling grain for what it is, definitely some structure here. the hops are majorly fresh in this, its awesome how immediately they have been able to get their beers to idaho, and i am thankful for that. a little estery thing in the middle of this as it warms, but pretty clean on the ferment all up, just a little more character than others have had, at least to me. some tropical fruity, white grape, and lemongrass to finish, expressive and fruity and herbal all at once, not too much, nothing green or vegetal, great proportions, i like the cereals in the grain base too. maybe one that could get lost in their crowded lineup of ipa a little bit, but on its own its another winner. i look forward to their stuff every week now!
