Foofaraw is a gorgeous red, with a fluffy white head that disappears quickly. The aroma is pretty mild. The taste is anything but mild. There are the raspberries, plenty of them. The beer is nicely tart, but not mouth puckeringly sour. It's got some noticeable yeast. It's not sweet in the least. The mouth feel is spot on for a berlinerweisse. Overall, it's one of the better berlinerweisses that I've had.
