It seems logical that Engine House might serve a beer or two from a beer engine. In fact, they offer three; two guests plus a rotating house beer that just may be the best beer in the house. Their cask-conditioned barleywine is a knockout and now a cask mocha porter with explosive coffee flavor springing from the relaxed confines of a silky smooth, conditioned ale. Served with a spry sudsy head of tan on a coffin black body, this beer leaves nothing to the imagination. Fresh coffee makes for a potent adjunct in both the taste and smell. A memorable beer I could drink all night.
