Canned 3/29/2? Hoping that’s a 23 but it’s quite faded
Moving right along with woemads second BIF box to me, we have another brewery that I’ve never heard of. It looks like it’s been inactive for almost 2 years, prehaps this is the first time they’ve brewed it in a while. Let’s crack it open and see what it has to offer
Pours a cloudy yellow gold with 3 fingers of creamy off white head that slowly fades to a thin cap and leaves decent lacing
The nose is pretty nondescript and bland, there’s not too much to say. I’m picking up on aromas of red grapefruit, bready malt, grassy hops, orange juice, and white pepper
It’s only slightly better in taste, but it’s kinda just a hop water. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting bready malt, herbal hops, light orange zest, and lemon oil. The swallow brings notes of bready malt, red grapefruit, grassy hops, white pepper, and a touch of lemon
A medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a slick beer. Finishes neutral with a mild bitterness
I don’t hate this, but it’s mot very good. I’m leaning towards the year on the can maybe not being 2023, as it doesn’t seem that fresh. Oh well

This is quite hazy but not overly gunky. Pleasant fruity flavor. Peach and mango with a citrus edge. Dry hopped with Citra and Simcoe. Tangy with an acidic finish. Nicely aromatic, notes of orange, resins, mango. Overall a murky but likeable hoppy brew. I would call it a New England IPA in its present configuration.

16 oz can from Brewers Haven. Golden pour, hazy, small persistent tight head. Malty aroma with a light citrus edge, oranges. Taste adds a soft caramel sweetness. Hoppiness remains very subdued.

very tasty slightly cloudy ipa here from these guys, new to the idaho market, so stoked to have them. this is cool beer, a little basic as the e9 stuff goes in my experience, but well made and scratching my itch for something hoppy. they have two listings here, i hope i added this right, assuming the production spot since its canned and distributed, someone correct me if i am wrong. orange toned, nice and heady and frothy looking, lacy as it drinks, with a strong nose of clover honey, sticky weed, and juniper, fresh and pretty bold, looks a little east coast, but smells and tastes bitter enough to be northwestern. pine, orange peel, and some oils to this, fuller bodied and richer feeling even without a lot of overt malt character, some yeast to this it seems too, an ale yeast with flavor in an ipa, whoa, like the good old days. i get some minerals and even something lightly metallic as it warms in the finish, tinny, perhaps a tad astringent too, which slows me down with it, ripe melon and bitterness to finish, enough carbonation, slightly sticky. tasty brew, robust, totally hop driven, maybe not among their best work, but hard to be too critical either, really glad to have these guys in the market here now! if they keep sending, ill keep buying!
