i keep enthusiastically buying just about everything these guys send to idaho, and have been a big fan of most of it. they somehow do a nice job differentiating so many ipa types, its impressive. i wish they would just say what hops are in them, you never know, but it makes it fun to taste them without any bias. this is hazy but not heavy looking, straw yellow colored with a nice glow, a high white head, and pretty lacing as i drink it down. smells like melon and lemon zest, fresh and lush, clean for a hazy, but with some apparent bitterness too. not radical on the hop side, but also no obvious and overly familiar in terms of which varietals are in the mix, i cant immediately place any. the flavor is also fruity, but the moderate bitterness runs through the whole drink, neat for a hazy and not disruptive or too intense or anything here. i like the yeast in this one, it dries this out nicely and adds just a little earthy character to the beer that brings the pale grain base up in the mix just a little, great balance and contribution from all the elements in this one, not just a hop bomb. juicy green grape and generic citrus to finish, nice and flavorful and fresh, quick finish. quality ipa, very modern, very good again from these guys!

Poured from a 16oz can into a pint glass. An immense amount of white head settles atop a vivaciously carbonated pale straw gold beer, slightly hazy. The aroma is faint but has traces of fruit. The beer has a light to moderate body, with notes of fruit which I cannot quite describe further, but which are quite unique and tasty.

16oz can from Boise Co-op. Pale golden, hazy, small fluffy white head. Fruity aroma, tropical, floral, hoppy. Taste starts with a smack of the grainy malts, then slips into a tropical, citrus melange, with floral notes before finishing with a dry sticky bitter bite. Full mouth feel.
