i disagree with the other reviewer here, not in terms of flavor notes or anything, but in terms of overall quality, this really is good beer, extremely well made, even if it might not be the most distinctive or memorable ipa in their lineup. its hazy but still resplendent in the glass, an inch of lasting air white bubbles all neatly stacked on top of one another, fading only slightly through the drink, rich lace left in its wake. it smells quite fresh, very dry hoppy without any greenness or bite to it, not over saturated in that way, even though i get it a little bit in the flavor as it warms on the finish, but its never severe. i smell a little pine and some skunky weed, but the flavor crushes the nose in this one, weird for such a dry hopped brew, but that is the case here, preserved lemon and fresh pineapple and clementine, an almost cotton candy sweet flash in the center, but dry enough to finish and then with a last wash of bitterness before its gone, more unique as it warms up a little bit too. as many hoppy beers as these guys make, they are yet to really run together and come out samey in my mind, like each one has its own personality, and i appreciate that greatly. not an incredible aftertaste here, just a bit vegetal, but overall very solid, these guys have pretty much never let me down!

16oz can from Boise Co-op. Pale yellow golden, mild haze, thin, lasting white head. Light fruity citrusy aroma. Taste is a combo of orange and grapefruit peel , gentle bitterness, lemons, resiny.
