Cloudy yellowish-grey brew but with long-lasting suds in the Stout glass. Smells like a Saison. Actually quite lush on the tongue, but the bitter acidity gets you quick. Harsh astringency is the way it goes. There's a bit of berry taste but then I wish I hadn't taken another sip. Someone else can try to decipher flavors in this
It's true the labels on E-9 brews are not very helpful. They can't be bothered to mention this is a thoroughly hazy brew. Very dry finish with endless, painful bitter aftertaste. From the 16 oz can purchased at Town & Country in Mill Creek. No apparent date.

another good hazy ipa from these guys, seems like the cans are coming fast and furious, and i keep loading up every weekend, ive liked all of them, loved most of them, and was stoked on this as well. i always wish they would give more details on the label about the hops they use, but i guess its kind of fun to guess at it too, and just take in the beer as a whole instead of considering specific hop varietals and their contributions. this is pale straw colored, a little thicker looking than some of the others, and holds a tall, rich, and thick creamy white head, gorgeous in my glass. aroma of fresh muddled lemongrass, piney weed, and even key lime, really appealing, but also with some raw and dry cereal grain character, great balance but in a very modern way. the flavor is similar, pungent, mega fresh, and distinctive, southern hemisphere perhaps, i even get a quick hit of dill, and with the lemongrassy character makes me think for a second sorachi ace, but this is likely a mix of different hops. the body is a little fuller than a lot of them, but this isnt heavy to drink, the flavors are lighter than the texture though, even for how hoppy it is, there is something delicate about the taste, while the mouthfeel has some fullness. the yeast is mildly bready, and i taste it more than i think i usually do in their hoppy beer, but i might just be getting used to their house flavors, like i could pick their stuff out of a lineup now, ive become a huge fan very quickly! an exceptional ipa by any standard, these guys continue to impress!
