Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a slightly hazy, medium golden amber with a three finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and dank hops, mild orange, mixed stone and tropical fruit. Flavor is pale malt, citrus and light piney hops, mixed citrus, tropical and stone fruit with a little dankness. A slightly sweet, estery fruit character develops in to the finish and a lingers along with a touch of pine. Medium bodied with light creaminess. Can says this is a West Coast style IPA and it does have some citrus and pine notes, but the main character is mixed fruit and dankness. Good medium pale malt body displays the hops well. Another IPA that has some pale ale character, although with a bit more robust hops. Interesting hop bill that reminds me a lot of New Zealand hops. On the edges of a West Coast style, but pleasant, hoppy and decently hop bitter. Enjoyable. 2021 is starting off with some real IPAs showing up along with the flood of hazies. Things are looking up.
