Mostly clear faded gold body, white cap, visible carbonation. Honeyed grains and malt with grassy old world hops, rounded out by fresh baked white bread. Taste swirls on the palate with white bread, grains, honey, and floral notes before grass and a slight minerality meet. Feel is light and pretty crisp, carbonation is noticeable every sip, little thin. The wife liked it

 

16oz can with no date. Pale straw color with a quickly fading head. Aroma of sweet cereal grains. Still did not prepare me for the flavor. Holy cow is this thing sweet! It is cloying and not enjoyable. For a label that claims only pilsner malt, how did it get this way? Very little in the way of bitterness but does have some grassy hop flavor. I think this is under fermented. Light body with a mellow carbonation that doesn't aid in drinking. Just a poor attempt at a Helles.

A: The beer is clear light yellow in color and has a high amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head that died down but never completely faded away and left lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of green grapes are present in the nose along with hints of biscuit malts.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the flavors of biscuit malts are a tad bit stronger and there is also a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels a bit more than light-bodied and relatively clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very easy to drink and tastes a little like a hybrid between a Kölsch and a Helles Lager.

Serving type: can

16oz can (dated 6/2/21) poured into 16oz tulip. Poured a clean, clear, bright yellow color with an inch of white head that dissipated quickly and left minimal lacing.

The aroma had the basic grain and floral hop aspects of the style, a solid "beeriness". Very similar on the tongue, just what is expected from the style.

The body was light, crisp, smooth, and had a dry finish. Drinkability was very good, the kind of brew you could knock back several of while tubing down the Nooksack. Overall, a solid and enjoyable take on the style. Worth grabbing if you see it.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Clear golden pour with a small foamy head. Grainy, malty aroma, crackers. Bready taste, biscuity malts, clean. Faint hoppy presence at the finish. Nice body and weight.

another dynamite pale lager from these guys, this one in the helles style, thankful to have found it on tap. i could literally drink this infinitely, and its crazy how fast this pint disappeared. its perfectly clear, very blonde and light in the glass, high polished shiny look to it under over an inch of frothy white head with great retention, exactly what i want a helles to look like. the aroma and flavor are grain forward, european pils type malt but very fresh to me, dry cereals, earthy notes, and some light grassiness in the hops bringing more earthiness out of it. the yeast is quite minimal, maybe a little german character to it, but its in the background, it certainly ferments this dry and clean though, this is fast finishing, bright as can be, and very crisp. lighter in hops than some of their other lagers, but traditional in that respect and bitter enough to be snappy at the swallow. i love the mineral profile this has, the subtle green grass and light lime character, and the overall cohesiveness of it, seems old worldy and timeless, great execution of what seems like a rather authentic and traditional recipe. ill go back to this one all summer long if they keep brewing it!
