Served in 16oz jelly glass. Poured a bright, clean, clear dark yellow color with a half-inch of white head that had good retention and light lacing.
The aroma had lightly citrusy hops at the front, with some very light grain showing through behind.
The flavors were also citrus hop forward, with a gentle malt base, and a refreshing hit of bitterness.
The body was smooth, carried good carb throughout, and had a sharp, dry finish.
Drinkability was good, the kind of IPA that you want to have a couple of.
Overall, a solid take on the style, certainly worth a shot if you see it.
