another delicious ipa from these guys that doesnt say what hops are in it, neither new england style hazy nor west coast clear, an unfiltered look but nothing more, light orange tinted with a good inch of airy white head on it, looks nice in the glass, not glowing, a muted tone, but pretty. aroma and flavor are the same, bruised yellow peach, fresh cut pine, light gin botanicals, weird tropical fruits like kiwi and papaya or something, very dynamic, incredibly fresh, balanced but not overly so by the grain here, and clean enough of the ferment, just a little bit of a yeast thing at the very end like a lot of their hoppy beers have, really tasty. the hops are only mildly bitter, nothing green and vegetal about them, and it seems unique to me a little bit, the pine element with the fruitiness, best of both worlds sort of situation. fluffy feeling suggesting some wheat in the mash, lively carbonation, pretty clean finish, off dry. no frills ipa that probably deserves more attention than it will ever get. my love affair with these guys goes on, not a bad beer in the lot!
