Quite cloudy but distinctly a yellow color with plenty of foam in the Hopleaf goblet. Aroma of leaf mold and lemon peel. Rather harsh on the tongue but with plenty of spritz. Flavor starts with a pleasant peach, then old grapefruit, and further marred by the slide into astringency.
Acidity is quite bothersome after some sipping. E9 makes such good beers, when they're not following fashions. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 08/13/2021 on the neck of the can.
